Every week, The WiseCat selects a special property priced very well and unique to its neighborhood. Today, we’re in the Bayside Historic District of Miami Florida, located in the Upper Eastside. Check out our Deal of the Week for April 15, 2018
Yeah, we know, the house looks like it needs a lot of work… but, this property should not be ignored because it is one of the largest houses in the neighborhood (on the largest Lot of land) priced well below the market. All it needs is a little love!
Buying this house today for $700k and investing money into the property and backyard will create an amazing investment opportunity long-term. Plus, it will rent easily! Did I mention it comes with a detached Guest Cottage and has the potential for the creation of a long interior carport (or an expanded backyard and Pool Deck)? There is so much you can do with this house.
Details on The WiseCat Deal of the Week in Bayside Historic District
Located east of Biscayne Blvd near 69th Street, Bayside Historic District is home to two condo developments and many small houses nearby, along with a large Park located on Biscayne Bay – truly special! Two of our friends live there and many are now considering moving to Bayside as a great alternative due to its quiet and safe neighborhood appeal… PLUS, local neighborhood convenience are just a quick walk away.
The Upper Eastside is north of Edgewater, east of Little Haiti, south of the village of Miami Shores, and sits on Biscayne Bay. In geographical order (from south to north and east to west) it contains the subdivisions of Magnolia Park, Bay Point, Morningside, Bayside, Belle Meade, Shorecrest, and Palm Grove. The MiMo District along Biscayne Boulevard in the area is host to many art galleries, shops and restaurants.
The Upper East Side is primarily a residential neighborhood, composed largely of historic single-family homes from the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s, with Biscayne Boulevard running along the center of the neighborhood with mid-rise and high-rise office towers, hotels, and apartments. The MiMo Historic District runs along Biscayne Boulevard, and includes a large number of MiMo hotels from the 1950s and 1960s, that have been preserved, and have recently begun to be renovated, and turned into stores, restaurants and boutique hotels.
